Peer Mentoring for Knowledge Exchange in Design, an Arts and Humanities Research Council project
JS-Coaching designed and managed the peer mentoring aspect of the Knowledge Exchange in Design (KED) project. The pilot year of the collaborative project between four Universities, Birmingham Institute of Art and Design (BIAD), Coventry, Nottingham and Sheffield involved researchers taking up short projects in businesses and cultural organisations. The online mentoring forum enabled the researchers based in a spread of geographical locations, and also partner organisations, to share experiences and learn from one another through the forum discussions.
JS-Coaching was also part of the second year of the project that paired researchers at BIAD with partner organisations. Part of the larger BIAD Professional Development Network that facilitated a series of events celebrating and exploring professional development. More information can be found at the BIAD PDN website here.
